Il Respiro situated within the Sibillini national park provides a haven of seclusion and tranquility. Resting in the foothills of
the majestic Monti azurri mountain range with glorious views and walks, the house is only a 25 minute walk into  bustling,
beautiful  Amandola, a grand medieval hill top town providing for all  shopping needs with several good restaurants and
bars
.
The house provides relaxed family, ensuite  accommodation for up to 12 people with a newly installed pool situated close
to the house with beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
The house has no nieghbours and is utterly private in a tranquil, country postition. The grounds are fenced in and
spacious to the front  and side of the house.
Perfectly placed for daily hill walks, mountain treks, icinics and swimming in a huge glacial lake, flower and bird spottong,
cultural trips to the numerous surrounding hill towns or relaxing by the pool soaking in the peace, quiet and hot Italian sun.
Less than a ten minute drive to Amandola
and 20 minutes to mountain peaks . The
scenery is as spectacular as the walking  The
house is positioned within the national
Sibillini mountain park.

The closest airport is Ancona 1.30
mins.Ryan air from Stansted and Liverpool in
the UK.  Pescara is approx. The same
distance.

Rome is under 4 hours, Bologna under 3
hours.

Within one hour there are many fascinating
places to visit including Monte Fortino,
Monte San Martino and Ascoli Piceno.

The Adriactic coast is one hour twenty
minutes.

The ski resort is 20 minutes drive at
Sassotetto. Recently it has under gone
massive investment and there is a good variety
of runs for the beginner to the expert.
Tuition and ski hire  are available with half
day, daily or weekly passes. The are plenty
of restaurants and bars.

In spring time the mountains are famed for the
beauty of the wild flowers reminiscent of  
alpine flower meadows.
In the early autumn the slopes are crowded
with Italians forraging for wild mushrooms.
The oak forests harbour secret places
where black and white truffle grow.

The relaxed feel of the house and grounds makes the house a for
perfect holiday house for families with children. Free to make as
much noise as you please , the house is practically but attractively   
furnished, one need not be on guard 24 hours a day watching out
for the next antique to break.
The huge tiled and pillared loggia to the side of the house and
leading from the kitchen/dining room has a large table with chairs
and ample space for sitting in the shade, game playing etc. Even in
the unlikely event of rainy days the loggia provides sheltered
outside space.
There is a separate set of two rooms with a separate staircase
behind the main house which can accommodate a couple with a
bedroom, bathroom and another room with two beds, a desk and
seating. This can provide a private getaway for grandparents or a
good teen age den , it can sleep 4 or 5 and has a TV.

Ski resorts are 20 minutes drive from
the house.
The food in this mountain region is robust and luxuriant. Truffle and porcini mushroom dishes are plentiful,
wild boars stews and regional speciality, the pasta is normally home made and there is usually a catch of the
day dish or a hunters stew on offer. Helpings are large and hearty .The local pizzeria serves some of the
best pizzas in the area.
Amandola the local town is a properous, thriving hill town dating from medieval times with beautiful
architecture and a lovely main piazza bursting with bars and gelati counters. There are three excellent
restaurants and all shopping requirements, banks, chemist and a hospital.

Amandola is host to several festivals in the summer monthes including a piano and poetry festival.
Set within the Sibillini national park  , i the coast  is just over  an
hour away. This is a land of sunflowers, sheep pastures, church
bells,baked summer fields, lush and verdant in spring.
Surrounded by fascinating medieval hill top towns the vistas are
dramatic and reminiscent of a fairy tale. Beyond the drama of the
mountains and hills there is a sense of gentleness and tranquility.
This is farming country and the sound of rattly old tractors,
sheep bells and farm dogs are part of the fabric of this beautiful
land. Text book Italian with all the charm, ease, beauty and
poignancy of better known, more travelled regions Le Marche
holds its secret apart from the tourist trail. The welcome
strangers receive though is warm and enthusiastic the local
people so happy to share their passion for their home and way
of living with us cold northern Europeans. Le Marche is a land
you fall in love with ,embrace and revisit time and again.
